Michael is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (CT) and LICSW (MA), Certified Pastoral Counselor, DOT Substance Abuse Professional, Supervisor in Graduate Field Instruction (SIFI), and Certified Clinical Supervisor, as well as the founder of Kerith Brook Counseling. 

He has worked as a counselor, health educator, and client advocate in Connecticut since 1988, bringing over 30 years of eclectic experience to help his clients address and resolve a variety of issues. Michael holds a Bachelor of Human Services degree from Springfield College, and a Master of Social Work degree from Southern Connecticut State University. 

Michael approaches therapy from a biblical worldview that cherishes life as a precious gift and every person as a reflection of our Creator, made in His image and likeness to reflect His love, mercy and grace to the world. As such, Michael seeks to help others realize their full potential to live a life worth living every second of every day.
